Entry Title and Organization: Tecma, INCORE
Award Received: Silver
Challenges: The biggest challenge was to redesign a website not just to have a new layout but to make the difference in communication, interaction with users, and tell the story. At the same time we had to make sure that C level management users from corporate world will understand it. Also, the sales process in shelter manufacturing industry is 12-18 months, we had to make sure that Tecma stays in touch with leads already placed in pipeline.
Description: Website Redesign for Tecma, Texas based mexico shelter company.
Strategy: Our strategy was to position Tecma as a leader in shelter manufacturing industry and engage with potential
Tactic: In the corp world, it’s difficult to think out of the box, because of long approval process and distributed responsibility. However, to position Tecma as a leader, we had to show that this is a company that is not afraid to get out there. It’s not possible to lead, be pioneer, by staying in the box. We decided to use the newest technology that is usually not known by corp world. Many features of newest technology allowed us to engage and interact with users. To maintain relationships with new leads we came up with multiple call-to-actions and automated the process of staying in touch with them as well as involved team members from each department to create content and be active. This is very important as the sales process is usually more than a year.
Results: Using newest technology we were able not to refresh a website but tell the story. At the same time we changed industry trends that no competitors are even close. In 3 months the traffic doubled, bounce rate decreased, CTRs increased, and of course ROI increased.
